27.09.2011 Below is a message from Sensei Casey
Dear All,
It is with deep regret that I have to inform you of the passing away of a former colleague and very good friend, Dave Warburton.
Most of you will remember Dave from our time with the SKU.
A pioneer of English Shukokai, Dave was a BIG MAN WITH A BIG HEART and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts go out to his family at this very sad time.
The service will be held at St Johns Church, Delamere St. Winsford, Cheshire
CW7 2LY. (2.30pm Mon 3rd October)
Any one wishing to attend, the family has requested that we wear Blazers.
Denis

SOKE
Soke is a Japanese term that is most commonly used as the highest level Japanese title, referring to the singular leader of a school or style of martial art.
Soke are generally considered the ultimate authority within their art, and have final discretion and authority regarding promotions, curriculum, doctrine and disciplinary actions. A Soke has the authority to issue a menkyo kaiden certificate indicating that someone has mastered all aspects of his style.
It is with a sense of great pride that we announce Haruyoshi Yamada 9th Dan Hanshi, President and Chief Instructor has officially attained the promotion to Soke.
