-The 'Shito Ryu Shukokai National Championships' has been postponed.
The new date for the event will be announced soon.

SOKE
Soke is a Japanese term that is most commonly used as the highest level Japanese title, referring to the singular leader of a school or style of martial art.

Soke are generally considered the ultimate authority within their art, and have final discretion and authority regarding promotions, curriculum, doctrine and disciplinary actions. A Soke has the authority to issue a menkyo kaiden certificate indicating that someone has mastered all aspects of his style.

It is with a sense of great pride that we announce Haruyoshi Yamada 9th Dan Hanshi, President and Chief Instructor has officially attained the promotion to Soke.

17.02.2010 -The 'Shito Ryu Shukokai Junior National Championships' is now open to both seniors and juniors and has been suitably renamed
16.02.2010 -New event added - 'Open Kumite course' on 28th Feb
-Amended date for 'Shito Ryu Shukokai Junior National Championships' from 11th July to 18th July

11.01.2010 The [Calendar] and [Events] sections have been updated to includes the new dates and events for 2010.
