The venue for many of the 2024 calendar events are again at Stretford Sports Village (in the new build in the grounds of the School, NOT at the Sports Centre itself, it's called the Talbot Centre), Greatstone Road, Stretford, Manchester, M32 0XA. The entrance is to the left of Arnold Clark Vauxhall dealer.

Three spaces will be used for our events;
Large events (Open courses etc.)                             -           The SSV Sports Hall (Straight ahead through the double doors)
Small Events (Dan Gradings/Senior grade courses)   -           The SSV Dance Studio (Upstairs and to the right, first room)
Meetings (AGM's & Executive)                               -           The SSV Meeting Room (Upstairs and to the left)

Please note:

Most of the Open/Instructor Courses in 2024 will commence at 12pm (noon) and conclude at 3pm (3 hours).

- - EXCEPTIONS - -

The Extended Summer Course in June will run for 4 hours

and

The times for the course in March are later in the day.

- - Dan Gradings - -

Pre-Dan Grading Courses will commence at 10am and conclude at 3pm

Dan Gradings will commence at 10am and conclude at 4pm

Notes:

The venue listed above is to be used for many of our courses/seminars unless stated in a specific event entry (This may be subject to change and confirmation).

It has also been agreed that to start the courses on time and get the most out of each session is for members to arrive ready to book in from 11:45am onwards. We will be booking people in and signing licences from that time onward either inside the door of the venue or upstairs on the balcony (TBC). If we can achieve this, then a prompt 12:00 noon start will ensure a small comfort break is worked into the course by Denis Casey Sensei (his discretion based on eventual start time).
